Dahlia Barakat

About Me:

I graduated in 2003 with a Bachelor’s degree in Set and Costume Design from Cairo, Egypt.  I taught Art for two years, and since then have decided to focus all of my efforts into teaching myself, instead, what I love to do most. I moved to San Diego in 2007, and lived there for almost 3 years.  I participated in several local productions and won an award for best set design.  I now live in the Washington DC metro area, where I work at Hardwood Artisans and have the opportunity to work with and design custom hardwood furniture for our customers.  And although I haven't been here long, I hope to be a part of many local productions in the area.
